{"id":19825,"date":"2020-03-15T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-15T08:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.bib.uni-mannheim.de\/Aktuelles\/?p=19825"},"modified":"2020-05-20T09:02:37","modified_gmt":"2020-05-20T07:02:37","slug":"the-university-library-is-closed-from-sunday-march-15th-2020-borrowing-from-the-central-lending-library-and-the-reference-library-branches-possible-on-monday-march-16th-and-tuesday-march-17th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.bib.uni-mannheim.de\/Aktuelles\/?p=19825","title":{"rendered":"The University Library is closed from Sunday,  15 March  2020  &#8211; Borrowing is still possible on Monday and Tuesday, 16 and 17 March"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In the context of general preventive measures and in agreement with the university management, the University Library is closed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To provide you with urgently needed books, <strong>we offer the possibility to borrow or return books on Monday and Tuesday, 16 and 17 March, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/strong>  You can order books from the closed stacks until Monday evening via our online catalogue Primo. <strong>For students of the University of Mannheim we also offer an exceptional loan from the subject libraries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Central Lending Library and the subject libraries A3, A5, Ehrenhof Palace and the Business Administration Library are open on Monday, 16 March and Tuesday, 17 March from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. exclusively for borrowing and for emptying internal lockers. There will be no regular use of the facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the closing\ntime all reminder fees are suspended. Please do not send any media back to us\nby mail. Existing reservations for borrowed media will be retained.&nbsp; Our interlibrary loan service will not be\navailable during closing time.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our digital media are available to you as usual. Electronic publications and most of the databases licensed by the University Library are accessible to you regardless of location.&nbsp;<\/strong> We are also considering increasing our electronic offers at short notice.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:info@bib.uni-mannheim.de\">info@bib.uni-mannheim.de<\/a> .
