November in M\u00fcnchen <\/strong>und hoffen, dass du dabei bist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Echtzeit- und hochfrequente Finanzdaten wie Kreditkartentransaktionen oder digitale Zahlungen erm\u00f6glichen neue Einblicke in Konsumverhalten, regionale Entwicklungen und gesamtwirtschaftliche Trends. Sie bieten au\u00dferdem die Grundlage f\u00fcr Fr\u00fchindikatoren, die in der Politik genutzt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Workshop der BERD Academy zeigt, wie mit neuartigen Finanzdaten Forschungsfragen bearbeitet werden k\u00f6nnen, die bisher unbeantwortet blieben, und bringt Forschende und Datenanbieter miteinander ins Gespr\u00e4ch. Willkommen sind empirische, methodische und praxisnahe Beitr\u00e4ge, die das Potenzial von Transaktionsdaten in den Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften zeigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als Keynote Speaker d\u00fcrfen wir Professor Steffen Meyer (Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University, and Danish Finance Institute) begr\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir freuen uns \u00fcber <strong>Vortragsvorschl\u00e4ge<\/strong> \u2013 besonders von Promovierenden, Nachwuchsforschenden und Praktiker*innen. They also support real-time indicators for policy use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"englisch\">This BERD Academy workshop showcases research that uses novel financial data to address previously unanswerable questions and fosters exchange between researchers and data providers. We welcome empirical, methodological, and applied work that highlights the value of transaction data in economics and related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"englisch\">We are especially excited to announce that Professor Steffen Meyer (Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University and research fellow at the Danish Finance Institute) will deliver the keynote lecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"englisch\">We invite contributions in the form of <strong>presentation proposals<\/strong>. Submissions from early-career researchers, including PhD students and practitioners, are particularly welcome.
