Das Team von BERD@NFDI freut sich auf Bewerbungen f\u00fcr die erste Runde des BERD Incubator Program: Extracting Text & Data from Complex Multimodal Sources<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das 12-monatige Programm unterst\u00fctzt Forschende aus den Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften<\/strong> dabei, manuelle Kodierungsprozesse durch automatisierte KI-Pipelines zu ersetzen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ausgew\u00e4hlte Projekte erhalten direkte technische Unterst\u00fctzung durch Data Scientists, Zugang zu GPU-Rechenressourcen und speziell angepassten Modellen (z. B. Whisper, OCR-D und Large Language Models), Beratung zum Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) und zur Ver\u00f6ffentlichung auf Plattformen. Zu den unterst\u00fctzten Formaten geh\u00f6ren gescannte Finanzberichte, Handelsregister, historische Archive sowie Audio- und Videoaufzeichnungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Bewerbungsphase <\/strong>f\u00fcr Phase 1 beginnt am 19. Oktober<\/strong> und endet am 30. November 2026<\/strong>. F\u00fcr diese Runde werden bis zu drei Projekte ausgew\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BERD@NFDI team is pleased to invite applications for the upcoming BERD Incubator Program: Extracting Text & Data from Complex Multimodal Sources<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed for researchers in business, economics, and social sciences<\/strong>, this 12-month program replaces manual coding with automated AI pipelines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selected projects receive direct engineering support from data scientists, access to GPU compute resources and fine-tuned models (e.g., Whisper, OCR-D, LLMs), as well as RDM consultation and platform publishing. Supported formats include scanned financial reports, corporate registries, historical archives, and audio\/video recordings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications <\/strong>for Phase 1 open on 19 October<\/strong>, and close on 30 November 2026<\/strong>. Up to three projects will be selected for this cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
