Am heutigen Freitag, 06. Mai 2022, findet an der Universität Mannheim das Sustainability Festival statt. Beim Sustainability Festival wird Nachhaltigkeit in all ihren verschiedenen Formen gefeiert und gefördert. Auch die Universitätsbibliothek beteiligt sich mit verschiedenen Angeboten.
Papierrecycling
Nicht immer lassen sich Ausdrucke vermeiden. Die UB gibt dem eigenen Altpapier ein neues Leben: Geeignete Ausdrucke wurden in der Buchbindewerkstatt der UB zu Notizblöcken umgearbeitet.
Heute werden diese nachhaltigen Notizblöcke „Recycled by UB Mannheim“ in den Bibliotheksbereichen ausgegeben. Limited Edition!
Literatursammlung zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit
Für all diejenigen, die sich näher über das Thema Nachhaltigkeit informieren möchten, hat die UB im Katalog Primo eine Literatursammlung mit in der Bibliothek vorhandenen Büchern zum Thema erstellt.
Ihr könnt die Sammlung entweder bequem zu Hause durchstöbern oder ihr kommt in unsere Bibliotheksbereiche und seht euch die Sammlung an unseren großen Monitoren im Learning Center oder im Ausleihzentrum Westflügel an.

Hard copies can’t always be avoided. The University Library gives its own waste paper a new life: Suitable printouts were reworked into notepads in the University Library’s bookbinding workshop.Today, these sustainable notepads „Recycled by UB Mannheim“ are handed out in the subject libraries. Limited Edition!
Literature collection on the topic of sustainability
For all those who would like to learn more about the topic of sustainability, the University Library has created a literature collection in the Primo catalog with books on the topic available in the library. You can either browse the collection in the comfort of your own home or come to our subject libraries and view the collection on our large monitors in the Learning Center or the Central Lending Library.
