Free Webinar on the Citation Style Language (CSL)

[update Nov. 4, 2015] The video is online at YouTube.

Learn How to Create and Modify CSL Citation Styles

csl-logo-small-inverse-300The open-source Citation Style Language (CSL) project provides citation styles to many popular reference managers, including Mendeley, Papers, and Zotero. In this webinar, you will learn the basic structure of a CSL style, and get familiar with editing CSL styles with the help of a dedicated web interface.

At the end of the webinar, you will be able to adapt an existing style to your needs or even create an entirely new style that does not yet exist in the repository.

The seminar will be led by two core contributors to the CSL project, Sebastian Karcher and Rintze Zelle. Together, they oversee the CSL repository of nearly 8,000 citation styles.

This event is open for everybody interested in learning more about CSL styles. We do not expect any prior knowledge of CSL or programming of any kind.
