Auf dem Publikationsserver der Universität Mannheim (MADOC) können ab sofort auch Nachhaltigkeitsziele bei Eintragungen von Publikationen angegeben werden. Dies umfasst die drei Nachhaltigkeitsdimensionen ökonomische, ökologische und soziale Nachhaltigkeit sowie auch die 17 verschiedenen UN Nachhaltigkeitsziele (SDG).
Die zugeordneten Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte werden als Symbole direkt bei den eingetragenen Publikationen angezeigt und sind über die Suche in MADOC weiter auswertbar. Eine Übersicht der Publikationen mit Nachhaltigkeitsaspekten finden sie hier.
„Die Option, Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte in der Hochschulbibliografie zu berücksichtigen, ist ein sehr begrüßenswerter Pluspunkt für unsere Wissenschaftler*innen. Sie können nun ihre Beiträge zur Nachhaltigkeit direkt in ihrer Bibliografie vermerken. Dies wird nicht nur die Sichtbarkeit für Forschung mit Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeit an der Universität Mannheim erhöhen, sondern auch einen weiteren Schritt bei der Digitalisierung und Optimierung von Prozessen darstellen. Auch bei Akkreditierungen spielen Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte eine immer größere Rolle.“ sagt Prof. Dr. Moritz Fleischmann Prorektor für Nachhaltigkeit und Informationsversorgung.

Sustainable Development Goals in MADOC
The University of Mannheim’s publication server (MADOC) now also allows sustainability goals to be specified when entering publications. This includes the three sustainability dimensions of economic, ecological, and social sustainability as well as the 17 different UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The assigned sustainability aspects are displayed as symbols directly next to the entered publications and can be further analysed via the search in MADOC. An overview of the publications with sustainability aspects can be found here.
„The option to include sustainability aspects in the university bibliography is definitely a benefit for our scientists. They can now note their contributions to sustainability directly in their bibliography. This will not only increase the visibility of sustainability-related research at the University of Mannheim, but also represent a further step in the digitalisation and optimisation of processes.
